This website is the home of Ða Engliscan Gesiðas (The English Companions), a society for all those interested in the history and culture of Anglo-Saxon England, including language and literature, archaeology, anthropology, architecture, art, religion, mythology, folklore and material culture.

We promote interest in and research into the Anglo-Saxon era (CE 400-1100); we do not follow any particular interpretation of history and maintain a strictly neutral line on modern political and religious matters. We hope you enjoy reading more about this period on our site.

The English Companions 2026 Calendars

We have produced our 2026 calendar for 2026. The calendars are A3 in size. Check out our calendars from previous years for an idea of the format.

We are selling the calendars at £7 each plus postage.

At present the cost including UK postage is £10.35 for one calendar and £17.35 for two calendars. As a special offer you can purchase three calendars for £23.35 including UK postage.

Calendars can be ordered from the membership secretary (membership@tha-engliscan-gesithas.org.uk) . Prices of postage may rise so please email to check for the latest prices or for postage prices outside the UK.
